unitQ analyzed 83 million public app store reviews across 6,700+ apps. These are the products users love most.

How it works:

Built on public reviews, not internal opinions

We collect

83 million public reviews from the App Store and Google Play, translated across 100+ languages and analyzed by unitQ's AI over the full 2025 calendar year.

We score

Each app receives a unitQ Score from 0–100, which measures how consistently users report a seamless experience. A score of 90 means just 10 out of 100 reviews flag a quality issue.

We recognize

The top-scoring products across six categorized industries earn a 2026 Epic Award — an independent recognition that's earned through public user data alone.

FAQ

Everything you need to know about the Epic Awards.

How are winners selected?

There’s no application, no nomination, and no judging panel. unitQ’s AI analyzes millions of public app store reviews and scores every qualifying app on a 0-100 scale. The top-scoring products in each industry earn an Epic Award. It’s entirely data-driven.

What is the unitQ Score?

The unitQ Score measures the proportion of users reporting a seamless experience with a product. A score of 90 means only 10 out of every 100 reviews indicate a quality issue. It’s generated algorithmically from public user reviews—not internal data.

Who's eligible?

Any company with an app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store is eligible, regardless of whether they’re a unitQ customer. To qualify, an app needs at least 50,000 reviews during the evaluation period, must have been active every quarter of 2025, and the company must have 50+ employees.

What data is this based on?

The 2026 Epic Awards are based on publicly available user reviews from the App Store and Google Play, analyzed across the full 2025 calendar year (January 1 to December 31, 2025). unitQ’s AI translates, categorizes, and scores these reviews to identify quality patterns at scale.

Is there a cost to participate?

No. There are no fees, no applications, and no pay-to-play mechanics. Winners are selected entirely based on their product’s public user feedback.

How can I improve my chances of winning next year?

Focus on the experience your users are actually reporting. The unitQ Score rewards products where users consistently report fewer quality issues. You can get a free assessment of your current score to see where you stand.
